Tonsillitis

Tonsillitis is the inflammation of the tonsils, usually caused by viral or bacterial infections. Symptoms include sore throat, difficulty swallowing, and swollen glands in the neck. While mild cases may resolve on their own, more severe or recurring cases may require antibiotics or surgery.
