Pancytopenia

Pancytopenia is a serious blood condition where all three types of blood cells—red cells, white cells, and platelets—are abnormally low. It can result from bone marrow failure, certain infections, autoimmune diseases, or as a side effect of chemotherapy. Treatment depends on the underlying cause and may include medication, blood transfusions, or bone marrow transplantation.
