Mastitis

Mastitis is an inflammation of breast tissue that commonly affects breastfeeding women, often caused by a blocked milk duct or bacterial infection. Symptoms include breast pain, swelling, warmth, redness, and sometimes fever or chills. Early treatment with antibiotics and continued breastfeeding or pumping usually resolves the condition quickly.
