Hashimoto's Disease

Hashimoto's Disease is an autoimmune disorder in which the immune system attacks the thyroid gland, leading to chronic inflammation and an underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism). Over time, this can slow down metabolism and cause symptoms like fatigue, weight gain, cold intolerance, and depression. It’s one of the most common causes of hypothyroidism, especially in women.
